Xiaomi's Chief Executive Officer Lei Jun has said in a post on the social media platform X that the Mix Flip will be launched internationally this month. However, its launch date has not been given. This smartphone can compete with Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Motorola Razr 50 Ultra. In China, the price of 12GB RAM + 256GB variant of this smartphone is CNY 5,999 (about Rs 69,000), 12GB + 512GB is priced at CNY 6,499 (about Rs 74,800) and 16GB + 1 TB variant is priced at CNY 7,299 (about Rs 84,000).

The Mix Flip has a 6.86-inch AMOLED inner screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Its external display is a 4.01-inch (1,392 x 1,280 pixels) AMOLED panel. This smartphone has Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 as a processor. Its dual rear camera unit has a Leica tuned 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 primary camera and a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV60A40 camera. For selfies and video calls, it has a 32-megapixel OV32B camera on the front. The 4,780 mAh battery of this smartphone supports 67 W fast charging. Last month, Xiaomi overtook American device maker Apple to become the second largest smartphone company in terms of volume.

Apple is at number three in this market. Samsung has retained its first position in the international smartphone market. According to the Smartphone 360 ​​Monthly Tracker of market research firm Counterpoint, Xiaomi has become the second largest company in terms of volume in the international smartphone market. Xiaomi has overtaken Apple for the first time in three years. Increasing demand in markets like India has helped Xiaomi. The company has benefited from the launch of Redmi 13 and Redmi Note 13 series in the sub-$200 price category.
