Atishi will take over as Delhi Chief Minister today

Noe Delhi After taking oath as the Chief Minister of Delhi, Atishi will take charge at the Delhi Secretariat today. Due to Sunday being a holiday, 4 ministers of her cabinet have also not been able to take charge till now.

If sources are to be believed, after assuming charge, a meeting of cabinet ministers may also be held, in which further strategy and furtherance of the functioning of the government will be discussed.

After Arvind Kejriwal's resignation, Atishi took oath as the Chief Minister on Saturday. Along with her, 5 Delhi ministers Kailash Gehlot, Gopal Rai, Saurabh Bhardwaj, Imran Hussain and Mukesh Ahlawat took oath. All the ministers have been allotted departments, but they have not taken charge yet. Health Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj took charge on Saturday evening itself, while the rest of the ministers will take charge on Monday along with the Chief Minister.

Sources said that after assuming office, Atishi will hold a meeting with her cabinet colleagues. She will discuss about taking forward the stalled schemes in Delhi. Along with this, there will also be a discussion on the announcements made by the government in the budget and the election promises, in which there will be a discussion on how to implement them before the elections and when to bring them to the cabinet.
