New Delhi: The Telangana government has declared the Dasara holiday dates for all government and private schools in the state. As per the dates announced all schools will remain closed from October 2 to October 14 for Bathukamma and Dasara.
In Telangana, Dasara is celebrated along with Bathukamma, a festival that honours women. These two festivals lead to an extended holiday season across the state. The Dasara holidays come along with several other significant festivals like the Gandhi Jayanti and Vijayadashami.
