Danger on India-Nepal border! Pakistan is preparing 2500 Jihadis, there is a possibility of them coming to UP's madrassas too

Gorakhpur: 2500 Jihadis are being trained in Nepalganj (Nepal), 6 km from the Indian border at Rupaidiha in Bahraich, under the patronage of Pakistani maulanas. Muslim youth of Nepal are being instigated against India here, which is a sign of a big danger in the future from the security point of view.

The SP of the Special Branch of the Intelligence Department has sent its report to the Police Headquarters. On 5 September 2024, the government has directed the Director General of Police to take action in this regard. After the matter came to light, the security and intelligence agencies are preparing to deal with this challenge.

In the weekly intelligence report related to the Nepal border of Uttar Pradesh, it has been told that Maulana Mansoor Halwai, head of the Phultekra Madrasa of Nepalganj located in Banke district of Nepal, is a resident of Karachi, Pakistan.

Madrasas running with funding from Pakistan

In this madrasa which is being funded by Pakistan, Maulana Ziaul Haq from Lahore, Maulana Madni Markaz from Karachi, Maulana Anwar Khan, Maulana Afruddin, Maulana Sadiq, Maulana Taulik Hussain are imparting Jihadi education to 2500 Muslim youths of Nepal.

It is becoming a hub of terrorist organisations

This madrasa is becoming a base for Pakistani intelligence agency ISI and other terrorist organizations. Apart from this, 130 madrasas are being run in Nepalgunj with funding from Pakistan and other Muslim countries, through which a conspiracy to spoil India-Nepal relations has been suspected.

There is a possibility of coming to madrassas in a secret manner

The SP of the Intelligence Department has written in the report that there are a total of 130 madrasas in Banke district, which include 6 madrasas in Nepalganj and 5 in Jaispur. Due to Wahabi and ISI activities in these madrasas, there are indications of Muslim organizations like Jamaat-e-Milli-Islamia of Nepal, Nepal Islamic Youth Association, Nepal Muslim Ittehad Association, Islamic Union Nepal being patrons. There are indications of Maulanas from Phultekara Madrasa coming and going to some mosques of Rupaidiha to propagate Islam.

Police is running Operation Kavach for surveillance. About 570 km of Nepal's border is adjacent to Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri and Pilibhit districts of Uttar Pradesh. Apart from Sonauli, Khunwa, Rupaidiha border, there are more than 300 footpaths for movement between the two countries. (Agency)
