Naidu is hurting Hindu faith for political gains, Jagan wrote a letter to PM Modi, demanding action

New Delhi: There is an uproar in the whole country over the Tirupati Laddu controversy. Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu has claimed that animal fat has been mixed in the Laddu Prasad. There is a tussle going on between CM Naidu and YSRP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy over this matter. Now Jagan Reddy has written a letter to PM Modi demanding action against CM N Chandrababu Naidu.

Jagan Mohan Reddy has said in an 8-page letter written to PM Modi that Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu is tarnishing the reputation of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. He further wrote that CM Naidu is hurting Hindu faith for political gains.

In a letter to PM Modi, Jagan Mohan Reddy has said that Chandrababu Naidu is a habitual liar. He has stooped so low to hurt the faith of crores of people for political purposes. It is necessary that Naidu be severely reprimanded for his shameless act of spreading lies and the truth be brought out. This will remove the doubts created by Naidu in the minds of crores of Hindu devotees and restore faith in the sanctity of TTD.

What is the matter?

Earlier, TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu had alleged that the previous YSRCP government had used substandard ingredients and animal fat in making Tirupati Laddu Prasadam. The ruling TDP claimed that a Gujarat lab had confirmed the adulteration. TDP spokesperson Anam Venkata Ramana Reddy showed the alleged lab report in a press conference. It confirmed the presence of animal fat in the ghee sample.

Union Ministers Prahlad Joshi and Giriraj Singh have demanded an investigation into the matter. Union Minister JP Nadda has sought a report from Chandrababu Naidu. On the other hand, Amul has dismissed the rumors circulating on social media. It was alleged that Amul has provided ghee to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. Issuing a statement, Amul clarified that Amul has never supplied ghee to TTD.
