Haryana Assembly Elections 2024: Union Home Minister Amit Shah, while addressing a rally in Toha assembly constituency on Monday, praised the achievements of the BJP government and criticized the policies of the Congress party. In his speech, he targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and said that under his leadership the party has always taken a wrong stand on issues of national interest. Amit Shah also took a dig at the Congress over Article 370 and pro-Pakistan slogans.

In his address, Amit Shah raised questions on Rahul Gandhi’s statements abroad and the controversial slogans raised in Congress rallies. He said that slogans of Pakistan Zindabad are raised in Rahul Gandhi’s rallies and he does not even try to stop them. Rahul Baba, whom do you want to please?

Criticising the Congress’ stand on Article 370, Shah said, “Rahul Gandhi along with the National Conference is saying in Kashmir that we will bring back Article 370. But the BJP will ensure that no matter what happens, Article 370 will never come back.” Shah also accused the Congress of tampering with national security by talking about releasing terrorists.

Congress also criticized on the issues of Dalit community

Shah also criticised the Congress on the issues of the Dalit community. He held it responsible for the 2005 Gohana incident and said that the Congress has always done injustice to the Dalits. He praised the BJP government and said that the rights of the SC and OBC communities are being fully protected under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In his speech, Shah raised the issue of land allotment in Haryana and alleged that during the Congress rule, farmers’ land was sold to build cheap malls and benefit the rich. He said that during the Hooda government, middlemen were dominant and farmers’ lands were sold in Haryana to please Delhi’s son-in-law.

At the end of his speech, Shah reiterated BJP’s commitment to the development of Haryana and said that under the leadership of BJP, work is going on in the state on 30 important projects at a cost of Rs 35 thousand crore. He said that these projects will give a new direction to the development of Haryana and will free the state from corruption.
