Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan admits he got the title of 'Maharaj' because of being a superstar's son

There are many star kids who don't boast about their facilities and prefer to live a simple life and one of them is Aamir Khan's elder son Junaid Khan. Junaid lives a very simple life and doesn't own any luxurious things. The star kid is often spotted travelling in local transport in the city of Mumbai and this shows that he wants to make something of himself. Junaid who was highly praised for his debut film Maharaj got this film because he is the son of superstar Aamir Khan.

In his conversation with NDTV Yuva, Junaid spoke about auditioning for Maharaj and Laal Singh Chaddha, “Sometimes you get some parts and sometimes you don’t. It is true that I gave some auditions before Maharaj. Those didn’t happen at that time. Yes, dad has already talked about it (Laal Singh Chaddha audition), so I can say yes. When I did the audition, dad really liked it.” The budget of the film was at a point where you wouldn’t be able to make that film with a new actor.

He further said, 'But I will also admit that if I was not Aamir Khan's son, I might not have got Maharaj.'

Junaid Khan is one of the most talked about star kids right now and with Maharaj he has proved his versatility as an actor. Junaid will next be seen in One Day opposite South's popular actress Sai Pallavi.
