Let's know the simple and tasty recipe to make it.

Required Materials:

– Poha (thin flattened rice): 2 cups

– Peanuts: 2 tablespoons

– Onion: 1 (finely chopped)

– Green chillies: 2 (finely chopped)

– Ginger: 1/2 inch piece (grated)

– Turmeric powder: 1/2 tsp

– Rai (mustard seeds): 1/2 tsp

– Curry leaves: 8-10

– Salt: to taste

– Lemon juice: 1 tablespoon

– Coriander leaves: for garnish

– Oil: 2 tbsp

Method of Preparation:

1. Wash the Poha: Firstly, put the Poha in a sieve and gently wash it under running water. Make sure the Poha is not too wet, just enough to make it soft. Keep it aside for 5-10 minutes.

2. Roast peanuts: Heat oil in a pan and add peanuts and fry till light golden brown. Remove peanuts and keep on a plate.

3. Prepare the Tadka: In the same pan, add mustard seeds and let them crackle. After this, add curry leaves, finely chopped green chilies and grated ginger and fry lightly. Now add finely chopped onion and fry it till it turns light pink.

4. Add spices: When the onions become soft, add turmeric powder and mix it well. After this, add soaked poha and add salt and mix it gently. Cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes so that the poha gets mixed well with the spices.

5. Add lemon and peanuts: When the poha is cooked well, add roasted peanuts and lemon juice to it. Now mix it slowly so that the sourness of lemon reaches every particle.

6. Garnish and serve: Garnish the prepared poha with green coriander and serve hot. If you want, you can also add namkeen or sev with it, this enhances its taste.

Tips for making Poha:

– If you want to make it more nutritious, you can also add some vegetables like carrots, peas, or tomatoes to it.

– To make poha soft, do not keep it for too long after washing it, otherwise it may become sticky.

– Always add lemon juice at the end so that its sourness remains intact and the poha tastes fresh.

health benefit:

Poha contains iron, carbohydrates, fiber and vitamins that give you energy for the whole day. It is light and easy to digest, making it an ideal breakfast.

Making poha in the morning is not only easy but it is also a healthy and tasty option that you can prepare in just a few minutes. So the next time you need a tasty and quick breakfast, don't forget to make poha!
