Apple's next iPhone may support Apple Intelligence

Delhi Delhi. Apple launched the new iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro in India and other major markets last Friday. This means that it is preparing for next year's iPhone 17 series. Although this may be true based on several reports about a new iPhone 17 Air in the lineup, another iPhone model may arrive within a few months. There are rumors that Apple's fourth-generation iPhone SE may arrive next spring and will support Apple Intelligence at a price lower than the iPhone 16.

The iPhone SE 4 could bring the biggest redesign in the series, with an iPhone 14-style notch on the display. This would be a big change from the iPhone 8 design, which was used in the iPhone SE 2 launched in 2020. The redesign would mean a larger display than the iPhone SE 2's 4.8-inch screen, flat edges, and the end of the Home button forever. According to the report, the iPhone SE 4 could have a 6.1-inch display – the standard size for non-Pro iPhone models, and use an OLED panel. The action button could also be available on the iPhone SE 4 as Apple will likely keep the design the same across the new model. And, Face ID will likely replace Touch ID, but the camera system will remain based on a single sensor like the previous model.

While the redesign could present the next iPhone SE as an attractive device for price-sensitive customers, the availability of Apple Intelligence features on the device could boost sales significantly. Earlier, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman had said that the next iPhone SE could support Apple Intelligence as the Tim Cook-led company looks to make its AI capabilities accessible to a wider customer base. Apple Intelligence features do not come out of the box on the iPhone 16, but could be rolled out later this year. By the time the iPhone SE 4 is ready for its commercial launch, Apple may be in a better position to offer its AI tools on the shipping date. The lower price of the iPhone SE 4 could drive the adoption of Apple Intelligence, as Apple currently faces competition from Samsung and Google.
