PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection Prices Leaked Ahead of Sept 26 Pre-Orders

As PlayStation gears up to celebrate its 30th anniversary, exciting leaks about the upcoming special edition consoles and accessories have surfaced online. With pre-orders kicking off on September 26fans have been eager to find out the pricing details for this limited-edition collection. Thanks to a reliable insider, we now have a sneak peek into what to expect, and some of the prices might surprise you.

The Big Leak: PS5 30th Anniversary Edition

According to the insider Car-only on Dealabs, the PS5 Digital Edition 30th Anniversary Bundle is expected to retail at $499.99 (approximately ₹41,473). This marks a $50 increase from the regular PS5 Digital Edition, but the bundle will come with exclusive PlayStation-themed merch, including a sticker set, a poster, and even a paperclip designed in true PlayStation nostalgia. The bundle will also feature the iconic DualShock 1-style cable connector housing.

For Indian PlayStation enthusiasts, this could be the perfect way to celebrate 30 years of PlayStation history while getting their hands on some exclusive swag, however, there is no news of any units of the PS5 30th Anniversary edition allotted to India. The grey market prices from scalers are going to be prohibitive, to say the least.

What About the Controllers?

Fans of the DualSense Wireless Controller will also have a special treat. The PS1-themed DualSense controller, part of the 30th Anniversary collection, will be priced at $79.99 (₹6,641), which is the same price as the regular version. This is consistent with Sony’s past approach to limited edition controllers, like the Astro Bot-themed DualSense, which sold out quickly earlier this year.

Other Products in the Collection

While most pricing details are still under wraps, here’s a breakdown of what we know so far:

Limited Edition Gear at Regular Prices

Interestingly, the leaked prices suggest that Sony is not hiking the cost of some of the limited-edition items, despite their exclusive designs. For instance, the DualSense Edge and the PS Portal are both expected to maintain their standard price tags of $199.99 (₹16,590), similar to their regular counterparts.
