wanted to snatch captaincy from Dhoni

Mohinder Amarnath was known for his fearless style. He also knew how to put forward his point fearlessly. So when he became a part of the Indian team's selection committee, he wanted to remove Mahendra Singh Dhoni, one of India's successful captains, from captaincy. Despite winning the 2011 World Cup, India had lost 8 consecutive Tests in England and Australia under his captaincy. Due to which he was in favor of removing Dhoni from captaincy.
