Ashwin drops a massive difference between the coaching style of Gautam Gambhir and Rahul Dravid

Gautam Gambhir has begun his role as coach of the Indian cricket team with a win. A responsibility that he must not shy from embracing as has been the case with Dravid after winning the team sources with the T20 World Cup scheduled for early 2024. The Indian cricket team wrapped up the limited overs tour of Sri Lanka and is now entering an extended season of Tests. Post the current series with Bangladesh, India will travel for a Test series in New Zealand followed by a tour of Australia. Perhaps an integral part of the journey will be Ravichandran Ashwin.

Brace yourselves, before this phase Ashwin shared the ways Gambhir and Dravid differ in coaching.

“I think he is very relaxed. There is nothing at all. In the morning, in the huddle. ‘Are you coming?’ Like that. Rahul Bhai is like, we will come. As soon as we come, the bottles should be in place. He is very regimented. He is like, everything should be in order, according to him. He has a relaxed order. I feel that hr captures the minds of the people. He loves the boys. He is not only relaxed,” Ashwin said…

Notice Ashwin thanking the audience who were present for their amazing support was present during the 1st India vs Bangladesh Test match.

He also opined that this was one of the finest test pitches he has played on in the country further requesting the curators to design such pitches for the Ranji trophy games held in Tamil Nadu.

Such a passionate cricket attitude of the chennai people helped them enjoy the game as well as brought their wonderful pitch conditions into good use making the match very enjoyable.

“The crowd was so passionate about watching the match,” Ashwin said.

“Without a doubt one of the finest cricket fields I have played in remia in quite some time. There is a great pitch and I wish YTN will have Roji Trophy on such pitches in Tamil Nadu. The way they have done the pitch, they should advance to the next level. Incredible Test match pitch. There was previously a curator called Pacha. He said, ‘sir the wicket will favor the fast bowlers in the morning I can guarantee you batting will be a walk in the park. Then it will turn and the match will be finished.” But just as he said the first day, there will be bounce,” he drew his remarks.
