The price of onion will be cheaper across the country. The rate will be Rs 35 per kg everywhere. The government took a big decision before Diwali

Due to the increasing retail inflation in the country and especially the rise in the prices of vegetables, the normal life of the people has become miserable. After the end of Sawan, onion prices have been continuously rising, after which the central government has taken a big decision.

Talking about the present time, the price of onion has reached ₹ 100 per kg in most places. People in many cities across the country are having to buy onions at 5 times the price, which usually sells for ₹ 20 per kg.

The central government will set up its own shop.

To deal with this problem, the government has made a new preparation and has said that to stop the price of onion from rising before the festivals, the government itself will sell the onion from its stalls at the rate of ₹ 35 per kilogram across the country.

All these shops will be opened in those places where onion prices are higher than the national average prices. The government will use buffer stock for this.

At present, sales have started at these places.

If we talk about the present, then sales from buffer stock have been started in many cities including Delhi and NCR and Moving Onion Vans are also being run at various places so that residents can shop easily.
