A heart-wrenching incident has happened in Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh. A husband suspected his wife's character so much that he decided to kill his entire family with his own hands. 41-year-old accused Rambali attacked his wife and children with an axe. In which the four-year-old son died. The wife and six-year-old daughter are admitted in the hospital. Both are swinging between life and death. The incident took place at around 10 pm on Saturday night in Chhipiya village under Dabhaura police station of Rewa district.
The deceased child has been identified as 4-year-old Ravindra, who was the son of accused Rambali. Apart from the deceased, the accused's wife Seema and his daughter Ragini also suffered serious injuries in the axe attack. The accused tried to escape after committing the crime, but was finally arrested by the police. Police said that the accused suspected his wife's character.
Rewa Additional SP Vivek Lal told TOI, 'Prima facie it has come to light that the accused had doubts about his wife's character and there was a dispute between the two over this matter, after which he took this horrific step. The matter is being investigated in detail.' Sources said that this is Seema's second marriage. Earlier she was married to someone else, but after her husband's death, she married Rambali.
