MUDA Case: Siddaramaiah gets a big blow from Karnataka High Court, case will be filed against CM in land scam

Karnataka. In the Mysore Urban Development Authority case (MUDA Case), the Karnataka High Court on Tuesday gave a big blow to the state Chief Minister K Siddaramaiah. The court has given permission to prosecute CM Siddaramaiah. Let us tell you that the High Court had reserved its decision after completing the hearing of the case on September 12. In this petition, Siddaramaiah had challenged the approval given by Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot for investigation against him in the Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) case.

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has received a big setback from the High Court in the MUDA land scam. In this case, the High Court has rejected his petition against the Governor. During the hearing, the High Court said that there is a need to investigate the facts mentioned in the petition. Saying this, the High Court rejected the petition.

Let us tell you that this issue is about a piece of land measuring 3.14 acres, which is in the name of Siddaramaiah's wife Parvati. BJP is constantly attacking the Chief Minister and his government on this issue and has accused CM Siddaramaiah of corruption and demanded his resignation. In this case, Karnataka Governor Thawarchand Gehlot has given permission to run a case against Siddaramaiah. On the other hand, Siddaramaiah has been rejecting all these allegations till now. He also called the Governor's decision unconstitutional. After this, he approached the court, giving a legal challenge to the Governor's decision. Siddaramaiah had said that the Governor is unable to tolerate the government and is trying to remove it.
