Lunch and Dinner Recipes: Many times, due to busy schedule, vegetables run out in the house and we don't even realize it. If you have run out of vegetables in your house or are bored of eating the same vegetables everyday, then you can prepare a great gravy vegetable with just gram flour. You can eat it with rice and roti or paratha with great gusto. There is no hassle in making it either. So let's know its recipe.

To make gram flour curry, grind 2 inches of ginger and 3 green chillies. Now put 1 cup gram flour and 1 teaspoon of Desi ghee in a bowl. Add 1 teaspoon of ginger and chilli paste to it. Add half a teaspoon of turmeric powder, half a teaspoon of garam masala, 1 teaspoon of red chilli powder and a little celery and mix everything in the gram flour.

You have to mix all the things by rubbing them with your hands and sprinkle very little water on it. The thicker your gram flour is, the tastier the vegetable will be. Do not set the gram flour dough too much and break small pieces of it in the shape of vadis. Keep in mind not to make them smooth at all, the more rough they are, the tastier the vegetable will be.

Put mustard oil in a small pan and when the oil is hot, fry the prepared vadis. You do not have to cook the vadis too much. Just cook them from outside and keep them slightly raw inside. After frying the vadis, put the remaining oil in another cooker or pan. When the oil is hot, add 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, 7-8 garlic cloves without chopping, cut 4 onions long and thick. Now brown the onion lightly and then add salt and add ginger and green chilli paste to it.

Add half teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of red chili and 1 teaspoon of Kashmiri red chili, some coriander powder to it and add 1 cup of water to it. Now close the cooker and let it whistle 3 times. Now increase the flame and fry this masala while stirring with a big spoon till all the water evaporates and oil starts separating. Now put 1 teaspoon of Kitchen King masala to it. Once the masala is fried, add 1 teaspoon of garam masala, 1 teaspoon of dried mango powder and some kasuri methi after lightly frying it. Now add 2 cups of water to the masala.

After the water boils, add the prepared gram flour vadis and reduce the flame of the gas and cook it covered for 5 minutes. The delicious gram flour curry is ready, serve it with green coriander. This curry is very tasty to eat with roti and paratha.
