Share market news: MIC Electornics shares hit upper circuit

Earlier, Benchmark equity indices declined in early trade on Tuesday after three days of record rally amid emergence of profit-taking.

Stock Market Update

Shares of MIC Electronics hit 5 per cent upper circuit on Tuesday. The counter opened at Rs 104.35 against the previous close of Rs 103.56. The counter gained further to touch the high of Rs 108.73.
Last seen, the counter was trading at Rs 108.44. The stock has been gaining for the last 2 days and has risen 9.5 per cent returns in the period and it has outperformed the sector by 4.3 per cent.

Earlier, Benchmark equity indices declined in early trade on Tuesday after three days of record rally amid emergence of profit-taking. The 30-share BSE Sensex declined 212.54 points to 84,716.07 in early trade. The NSE Nifty dropped 52.2 points to 25,886.85.

From the 30 Sensex firms, Infosys, Bajaj Finance, Kotak Mahindra Bank, HCL Technologies, IndusInd Bank and UltraTech Cement were the biggest laggards. Tata Steel, JSW Steel, Nestle and Tata Motors were among the gainers. In Asian markets, Seoul, Tokyo, Shanghai and Hong Kong were trading in the positive territory.
