Shibani Dandekar reveals how Farhan Akhtar's daughters treat him after his marriage

Shibani Dandekar and Farhan Akhtar appeared on Rhea Chakraborty's podcast Chapter Two, where Shibani revealed how Farhan's daughters treat her after their marriage. Shibani spoke about how Farhan's daughters Shanya and Akira welcomed her warmly, praised Adhuna Bhabani's upbringing and said, “The Akhtar family is very evolved and liberal. Their way of thinking and looking at things is such that I never felt like an outsider. Shanya and Akira have been brought up to be incredibly considerate.

Her awareness of the dynamics within this family is so well understood and accepted that it makes the journey a lot easier.” Farhan spoke in the same interview about how Shibani has formed a strong bond with their daughters, where Shibani credited her and Adhuna's upbringing, “It's a huge credit to both their parents as well. They have raised them to be open-minded, understanding and kind.

They are not the average young adult teenagers. I am working with two girls who have taught me so much.” Talking about how she approached both of Farhan’s daughters post marriage, Shibani said, “My approach was very simple. They have an incredible mother, they have an incredible father, we are all just here to help them wherever we can. That is how I see my role. Whatever the girls need, whenever their parents need my help, however, they need that help, I am here for that.” Farhan and Adhuna ended their 17-year marriage in 2017, and in 2022 Shibani and Farhan had a simple wedding amongst their friends and family.
