The actress wrote, “We were shooting for 'Hare Rama Hare Krishna' in Kathmandu and Dev Sahab had gathered a group of hippies from the streets to be a part of the song. Which song? Zeenat Aman added, “The hippie extras were very happy with their luck. Not only were they getting to pack a chillum with hashish in beautiful Nepal, they were getting free food, they were going to work in a Bollywood film and they were getting paid for it.

She actually smoked chillum for the character
Zeenat said, “Now Dev sahab (Dev Anand) wanted realism in this sequence. My character, the drunk Janice, had to look really drunk and the easiest way to achieve this was to participate in hippie prasad. I was a teenager at the time and was constantly taking long puffs from the chillum for the take.

Zeenat told that she was intoxicated after the shooting. She was happy, dizzy and was not even in a condition to return to the hotel. Then the team members took her in a car to a beautiful place and there she thought about the Himalayas in the cold air of the mountains and slowly her intoxication went away.
