Washington: The Indian Prime Minister went on a three-day visit to America. Today he has left for India from America. In America, he participated in the Quad summit as well as many other proposed programs. Here PM Modi also addressed the Indian American immigrants.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the US reflected the enthusiasm of the diaspora community, continued optimism from both governments in the bilateral partnership and the deep friendship and unbreakable bond in people-to-people contacts, a top India-focused US business advocacy strategic group has said.

What did PM Modi do?

Modi was on a three-day visit to the US and during this he participated in the summit of the leaders of the Quad i.e. Quadrilateral Security Dialogue countries in Wilmington on Saturday. After this, on Sunday, he addressed a huge program of thousands of members of the Indian-American community in Long Island. On Monday, PM Modi addressed the United Nations Future Summit. He also held bilateral discussions with world leaders on these three days.

Modi and US event was exciting

“Prime Minister Modi's recent visit witnessed enthusiasm among the diaspora, optimism from both governments on the partnership, and depth of people-to-people ties and bonds of friendship,” the US India Strategic and Partnership Forum said in a statement on Monday. The Prime Minister addressed over 13,000 Indian Americans at a packed Nassau Veterans Coliseum during the 'Modi and US' community event.

Thanks to Biden

According to the organizers, Indian American citizens came from 40 states. Most of them were from New York and New Jersey. USISPF thanked President Joe Biden for strengthening relations with India. It emphasized that whichever candidate wins the presidential elections to be held on November 5 in the US, it will continue to deepen strategic relations with India.

Emphasis on giving priority to Indo-Pacific

The group said that this will be Biden's last meeting with Prime Minister Modi as a sitting president. It is clear that whoever takes over the White House, the official office and residence of the US President, in January 2025 will continue to advance the strategic partnership and prioritise the Indo-Pacific as part of America's geostrategic vision.

USISPF said the two leaders underscored the shared interests of the two democracies. However, it is important to expand those interests into shared priorities to address urgent 21st century challenges, the group said.
