AP TET 2024: Check marking scheme, exam pattern
New Delhi: The Department of School Education (DSE), Andhra Pradesh has issued the admit card for the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) 2024. Candidates appearing for the AP TET 2024 can visit the official website at aptet.apcfss.in to download their respective admit cards. The AP TET 2024 is scheduled to be held from 3 October 2024 to 21 October 2024.
Before appearing for the exam, candidates need to be fully aware of the exam pattern. The AP TET is a state-level exam conducted twice a year. The exam is conducted for candidates who wish to pursue a career in teaching in the state. Candidates can also visit the official website to download the detailed syllabus and exam pattern for AP TET 2024.

AP TET 2024: Exam Pattern
- The APTET will be held in online mode as a Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
- The duration of the exam will be 2.5 hours (150 minutes).
- Candidates need to appear for the AP TET exam in the English language and language they have chosen from Kannada, Tamil, Odia, Hindi, Telugu, Urdu
- The question paper of the AP TET exam will carry a total of 150 questions.
- As per the marking scheme, candidates will be given 1 mark for every correct answer.
- There is no negative marking in the exam.
The AP TET will be conducted in two parts, i.e. AP TET Paper 1 and AP TET Paper 2. Candidates who wish to teach from Classes 1 to 5 need to appear for AP TET Paper 1 whereas those who wish to teach for Classes 6 to 8 have to appear for APTET Paper 2. Those who wish to teach for Classes 1 to 8 need to appear for both papers.
