Under the new data policy of the GST portal, there is a provision to end the facility of viewing data older than 7 years for taxpayers. In such a situation, in the coming days, the data from September 2017 to October 1, 2024 will be removed from the portal. This process will be done every month.
If you are also a GST taxpayer, then download the return data of September 2017 before 30 September 2024, because after this it will not be available on the portal. This step is being taken for the management of data and effective operation of the portal, so that the taxpayer gets enough time to keep his old data safe. Therefore, it is advisable to download your return data in time if necessary.
