‘CM in hospital for second time in three days’

Upon his arrival, a team of doctors specialising in gastroenterology, respiratory diseases, and anaesthesia conducted a thorough examination. They identified an infection in his stomach as the primary cause of his illness. This is the second time in three days that the chief minister has sought medical attention at the hospital. Due to his condition, CM Sukhu was unable to attend election campaigns in Jammu & Kashmir and Haryana as planned.

Despite his illness, the chief minister remained active on social media. On Tuesday, he posted on platform X (formerly Twitter), discussing his government’s policies and initiatives. He highlighted the importance of expanding educational loan schemes, noting that many talented students had been unable to fulfil their dreams due to financial barriers.

“We have closely observed the challenges faced by students where taking a loan for education seemed like a distant dream, leaving many meritorious students’ aspirations unfulfilled,” CM Sukhu wrote in his post.
