Sachin praised son Arjun’s love for life and dedication.

New Delhi: Indian cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar shared a heartfelt message for his son, Arjun Tendulkar, on the occasion of his 25th birthday, acknowledging his son’s dedication and passion for life. Arjun, who celebrated his birthday on September 24, recently reached a major milestone in his cricket career with an outstanding first-class performance. Representing Goa in the KSCA Invitational, he delivered his best-ever bowling figures of 9/96, marking a significant step in his journey.

Though Arjun still pursues the dream of representing the Indian national team, he hasn’t yet made it so far. On the other hand, Sachin Tendulkar said of his son’s resolve to remain fit and disciplined: “That is something that inspires him a lot, and I feel proud of his ability to be resilient and to give his best.”.

“Happy birthday to my amazing son, Arjun! Your love for life and relentless dedication inspire me every day. Watching you hit the gym first thing this morning just shows your incredible work ethic. Proud of you always! Here’s to another year of chasing your dreams!” Sachin wrote on his post.

Earlier in the day, Arjun’s sister, Sara Tendulkar shared a sweet post for the brother sharing just how many years of love and connection they have built. Her post mirrored the bond and support that siblings share, and that even her brother wouldn’t forget today being a little more personal for him.

Arjun has witnessed one such trend of low highs in his cricketing career. In the Ranji Trophy, he made 258 runs across 11 innings, which got him an average of 23.45, and there were only two half-centuries. And as a bowler, he could take nine wickets at a mediocre average of 44.66, which pretty much told everyone how ordinary his season has been for the young all-rounder.

In the Indian Premier League, Arjun Tendulkar represents the Mumbai Indians, the same franchise where his father, Sachin Tendulkar, spent many years. However, Arjun is still striving to leave a lasting impact on the team. Injuries limited his participation during the 2024 season, where he played five matches, taking three wickets and scoring 13 runs. Despite these setbacks, Arjun remains determined, driven by the unwavering support of his legendary father and his dedication to improving his game.
