Why did Pawan Kalyan and Prakash Raj come face to face over Tirupati Prasadam controversy?

New Delhi. After the case of adulteration in the prasadam of Tirupati temple came to light, Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan is performing an 11-day ritual to please Lord Venkateswara. In this sequence, today he participated in the 'purification' ritual at Sri Kanaka Durga Temple in Vijayawada. He cleaned the stairs of the temple. At the same time, actor Prakash Raj has targeted Pawan Kalyan over this ritual. After which the Deputy CM has also retaliated against Prakash Raj and advised him.

Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan had said that he would do 11 days of penance to please Lord Venkateswara for the alleged adulteration of Tirupati laddu with animal fat. He had said that I follow Sanatan Dharma, the concept of secularism cannot be one-sided, it has to respect all religions equally. On this, actor Prakash Raj had commented that this has happened in the state where you are the Deputy CM. Please investigate, find the culprits and take strict action. Why are you spreading fears and raising this issue at the national level, there is already enough communal tension in our country (thanks to your friends at the Center).

Pawan Kalyan retorted to this and said, Prakash Raj, I respect you. But when it comes to secularism, it should be mutual. Pawan said that Sanatan Dharma is of utmost importance to me and every Hindu has to understand his responsibility in this matter. He said that I do not understand what is Prakash Raj's role in this? Why is he criticizing me, I have talked about Sanatan, I have not insulted any religion.
