GATE registration 2025: The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) registration 2025 will soon be closed on the official website- gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The candidates can apply for GATE on the official website by September 26. The application fee for the general category candidates is Rs 1,800, while for the reserved category candidates- Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories is Rs 900.
The candidates can also apply for GATE 2025 after the closure of application process. The last date to apply for GATE with late fee is October 7. To apply for GATE 2025, candidates need to visit the official website- gate2025.iitr.ac.in. Click on GATE 2025 registration link. Fill up the application form with personal, academic qualification, address details. Upload the required documents. Pay the GATE application fee and click on submit. Save GATE application form pdf and take a print out.

GATE 2025 exam dates
GATE is scheduled to be held on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. The exam will be held in various shifts- shift one from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and the second shift will be from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
GATE 2025 paper pattern
The GATE paper will consist of multiple-choice questions and numerical answer-type questions. The total marks in the GATE paper is 100. There are two sections in the GATE paper- General Aptitude and the chosen subject paper.
The qualified candidates in GATE can take admission to Masters in Technology (MTech), direct PhD admissions to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), other universities. The candidates can also apply for PSU jobs.
