'Yogi Adityanath may be a Mahant, but he is not even eligible to be a village head', said Afzal Ansari after the encounter in Ghazipur

Ghazipur. SP MP Afzal Ansari has reacted sharply on Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath over the recent police encounter in Ghazipur, UP. Ansari said that Yogi Adityanath may be a Mahant and head of the monastery, but he does not have the ability to run the government. He also said that Yogi is not even capable of running a village headship.

Raising questions on the encounter, Afzal Ansari said that the police has no right to encounter anyone under the law. He alleged that innocent people are being deliberately targeted during encounters. He said, “Take them from their homes and shoot them in a fake encounter. This is murder and a case should be registered against those responsible for this.”

Let us tell you that in an operation conducted by STF in Ghazipur, wanted accused Mohd. Zahid alias Sonu died in an encounter after liquor smugglers assaulted two constables of Railway Police. STF said in a press release that Mohd. Zahid was injured in the encounter and died in the district hospital after first aid.
