Google’s Circle to Search Feature Will Reportedly Work With Message Bubbles With Android 15

In a report, it is gathered that Circle to Search would now activate even if the message bubbles are expanded shortly after Google’s Android 15 update rollout for users. End. Following this news, it was reported that Google would start rolling out its feature called Circle to Search on more devices and bring an end to exclusive exposure received by Samsung and Google handsets.

Circle to Search Expands on Message Bubbles

According to an Android Authority report, this means that Google’s AI-powered Circle to Search feature might soon work even when message bubbles appear in floating windows. The overlay isn’t displayed on the screen when a chat bubble is opened at present. Circle to Search is invoked when you long-press the home button or the navigation bar – neither of these can be accessed when the message bubbles are open.

The article looked on the source code for Android 15 and came out with some references to enable ‘Circle to Search’ once the message bubbles are opened. Here, one would circle an area on the screen, and then enable it on the web to be visually searched for. Over an object and its text on the screen, one can scribble, circle, or draw.

The feature was successfully activated by the publication, and it even proposed that not much time may pass before Mountain View-based tech giant introduces this feature after original equipment manufacturers release Android 15 for handsets.

Circle to Search Likely to Be Introduced in Other Smartphones Too

Google’s new feature, Circle to Search, may soon become available on thousands of Android devices. The Xiaomi 14T series is among the first few handsets to run it after Google and Samsung. It is scheduled to land on September 26 in Berlin.

Apart from that, the report further indicates that the AI-powered feature is supposed to launch Tecno Phantom V Fold 2, which the firm unveiled on Friday along with the Phantom V Flip 2.
