A special meeting took place between Adani Group founder and chairman Gautam Adani and Bombardier Inc. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Eric Martel. The high-level meeting held on Tuesday discussed a transformational partnership aimed at enhancing India’s aviation capabilities. Topics including defense sector, aviation services, its maintenance, repair were discussed. Gautam Adani expressed his excitement about the interview with Eric Martel.

In a post on the micro-blogging website, businessman Gautam Adani expressed his excitement about the discussion with Eric Martel. “Together we are trying to build a strong and self-reliant India by promoting the growth of India’s aviation sector,” he wrote in his post. India is constantly striving to reduce its dependence on foreign MRO (maintenance, repair, overhaul) services. This includes challenges faced by airlines such as high operating costs and time-consuming services. Gautam Adani stressed the need to develop a strong domestic MRO ecosystem to deal with these challenges.
