Now an FIR has also been registered after the court ordered a Lokayukta inquiry against the CM and his family. MP-MLA Court had ordered FIR against Siddaramaiah. On the instructions of Lokayukta ADGP Manish Kharbikar, an FIR has been registered against CM Siddaramaiah and his family. Siddaramaiah has been named as the main accused in this FIR. While the names of his wife Parvati and relative Mallikarjuna Swamy are also registered.

The court has directed to investigate this matter under section 156 (3) of CrPC and file the investigation report by December 24. On the other hand, Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge defended the Karnataka CM and said that the law will take its course, the people of Muda are free to take whatever action they want. It is not necessary that the government answers all his questions. Let us tell you that Karnataka High Court had rejected Siddaramaiah's application two days ago in which he had challenged the Governor's order for investigation in the Muda scam case against him and his family. After this, the MP-MLA court had ordered to register an FIR against the CM and his family.
