China got angry at this step of India, started laying claim on Arunachal Pradesh

New Delhi: Indian mountaineers named a mountain in Arunachal Pradesh after the Sixth Dalai Lama. Now China's anger over this has come to light. China has expressed displeasure over this. Also, China has declared this part of Arunachal Pradesh as a part of China.

In fact, a team from the National Institute of Mountaineering and Adventure Sports (NIMAS) climbed an unnamed peak 20,942 feet high in Arunachal Pradesh. The team decided to name the peak after the sixth Dalai Lama, Tsangyang Gyatso. Let us tell you that NIMAS works under the Defense Ministry.

Defense Ministry praised

The NIMAS team was appreciated by the Defense Ministry. Naming the hill after the Sixth Dalai Lama is to honor his immortal wisdom and his profound contribution towards the Monpa community, the Defense Ministry said in a press release.

Who was Tsangyang Gyatso

Tsang Gyatso was born in 1682 in the Mon Tawang region. Dalai Lama Ritgen Tsangyang Gyatso has contributed significantly to the Monpa community of Arunachal Pradesh. Which is the only nomadic tribe of North-East India.

What did China say on this

When Chinese media questioned Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian on this matter, he said that I have no idea what you are talking about. He further said that I should say that Janganan i.e. Arunachal Pradesh of India is a Chinese territory. The spokesperson said, it is illegal for India to establish 'Arunachal Pradesh' in Chinese territory.

If we talk about India, India has been continuously calling these claims of China as baseless. India has many times said in clear words that Arunachal Pradesh is an integral part of the country. However, earlier when PM Modi had visited Arunachal Pradesh. Then China had expressed objection. Let us tell you that China has changed the name of many areas of Arunachal Pradesh.
