Lahore: Pakistani showbiz industry’s beautiful actress Laiba Khan has hinted at leaving the entertainment industry for marriage.
Recently, Laiba Khan appeared as a guest on Dunya News popular show “Mazaaq Raat” where she openly discussed various topics including her career and marriage.
During the program, Laiba Khan shared that she never had a passion for acting. She used to accompany her younger sister, Eman Khan to shoots where a woman from a production house offered her a role in the drama “Alif.” Before she knew it, she had become an actress.
She explained that she was a shy girl and lacked confidence which made her feel that she couldn’t act. However, after stepping into acting, she gradually gained confidence.
The actress revealed that when she entered showbiz, she decided from day one that she would initially work for five years. Now, as she approaches the end of those five years, she is unsure about the future but feels she might step away from the industry.
Host Imran Ashraf asked her about marriage to which Laiba responded that she wishes to settle down through marriage and this could be the reason she might leave showbiz.
When asked about the qualities she seeks in a life partner, she said that physical appearance doesn’t matter to her. She desires a spouse who respects her, earns respect for her within the family and stands by her through every joy and sorrow.
