Pakistan News: At least three people were killed and seven injured in a roadside explosion in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Friday. The officers provided this information.
A spokesperson of rescue service '1122' said that the explosion took place near Jalala bridge in Takht Bai tehsil of Mardan district. Rescue officials took the bodies and injured to Mardan Medical Complex.
The police team reached the spot and collected evidence to find out whether the blast was caused by an explosive or a cylinder burst.
A former senator and three others were killed in a remote-controlled car bomb blast in northwestern Pakistan on Wednesday, police said. Hidayatullah was in Damdola area of Mamond Bajaur tribal district bordering Afghanistan when the blast took place, in connection with the by-election campaign for his nephew Najibullah Khan. (PTI)
