New Delhi. 5 people of the same family committed suicide in Rangpuri village of Vasant Kunj area of ​​Delhi. The dead include a man and his four daughters. According to the information, the deceased person was in the profession of carpenter. His wife had passed away only a year ago. According to the information received from the police, all four daughters who committed suicide were disabled. All of them committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance. Neighbors had informed the police about the foul smell coming from the house. When the police reached the spot, they found the bodies of the man and his daughters in the house. Police also found poison sachets from the spot.

According to the police, the door of the house was closed. When they broke it and went inside, the bodies of the man and his daughters were found lying there. All the bodies have been sent for postmortem. The police is investigating why all the five members of the family committed suicide. It is being told that the man was very upset after the death of his wife due to cancer. His daughters could not even walk. According to the police, it was seen in the CCTV footage that the man went to his house on September 24. After that no one came out of the house. It is believed that all of them committed suicide on September 24.

People living nearby initially thought that everyone had gone to the village, but after a strong smell started coming from the house on Friday, they suspected foul play. After this the police was informed. The reason for suicide has not been revealed due to non-receipt of suicide note. It is believed that due to distress, the family members decided to commit suicide. Due to the door of the house being closed from inside, no outsider's hand can touch it at present. However, police investigation is ongoing.
