The film was released 23 years after the freedom fighter’s tragic death. Directed by Jagdish Gautama, the film stars Prem Abeed, Smriti Biswas, Jairaj, and Ashita Mazumdar.

The Legend of Bhagat Singh (2002)

Ajay Devgn starrer The Legend of Bhagat Singh (2002) is the story of the valour and bravery of the young revolutionary Bhagat Singh who fought against British rule in India. The film is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and stars Sushant Singh, Amrita Rao, Farida Jalal, Raj Babbar, and Akhilendra Mishra. The film also won two National Awards 0 Best Feature Film in Hindi and Best Actor.
