Apple's mega event will be held in October, something special will be launched after iPhone 16

Obnews Digital Desk. After the recent launch of the iPhone 16 series, Apple is preparing for another event in the month of October. A report from 9to5mac suggests that Apple will focus on updates to its Mac lineup during this event. According to sources, Apple plans to introduce new MacBook Pro models powered by the M4 chip, a redesigned Mac Mini, and an updated iMac. Other models, including the MacBook Air, Mac Studio and Mac Pro, are expected to arrive next year. Additionally, Apple may introduce the next generation of the standard iPad with a new iPad Mini in the month of October.

M4 Mac Update

The M4 series chip will be introduced in Apple's Mac products at an event in October. There are no major design changes expected in the new MacBook Pro and 24-inch iMac. However, the Mac Mini will be completely redesigned. Reports suggest that the next-generation Mac Mini may come in a more compact shape, similar to the Apple TV set-top box. This new design will take up less space on the desk, although it may be taller than the current model. Additionally, the updated Mac Mini is likely to lack a USB-A port. Instead, there will be five USB-C ports.

iPad update

Apple may update the iPad mini and standard iPad with a better chipset to match the M4 Macs. The iPad mini may include the new A18 series chip introduced with the iPhone 16 series. The 2024 model may include a landscape-oriented front-facing camera and compatibility with Apple Pencil Pro. The standard iPad is about to get a performance upgrade with its 11th-generation model, which is expected to integrate an A18 chip to support advanced Apple Intelligence features.
