Tamil Nadu News: Explosion in Tata Electronics plant, massive fire, fear of huge loss

Krishnagiri. There was an explosion in Tata Electronics plant located in Hosur in Krishnagiri District of Tamil Nadu on Saturday. Due to this explosion, a huge fire broke out in a large part of the plant. There is a possibility of huge damage to the plant due to fire. The fire broke out in the cellphone manufacturing section of the plant, after which all the employees of the plant were evacuated safely. There is no news of any casualty in the accident.

There is a possibility of major damage to the plant due to fire

According to media reports, efforts are currently being made to control the fire. The plant has suffered huge damage due to the fire. The fire broke out at 5.30 am on Saturday. After this, a plume of smoke was seen rising from the plant. On receiving information about the fire, several fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and tried to control the fire. The fire broke out in the chemical warehouse of the company, which gradually spread to other parts of the plant.

1500 employees were working at the time of the incident

At the time of the incident, around 1500 employees were working in the plant. The cause of the fire is not yet known. Tata Electronics has also issued a statement confirming the fire at its plant in Hosur. A company spokesperson said that emergency protocols were followed when the fire broke out and the safety of all employees was also ensured. The cause of the fire is being investigated. Police said that due to the fire incident, three employees suffered respiratory problems and were admitted to the hospital. At present his condition is stable. A large number of police forces are deployed at the spot.
