BSNL will provide free internet! Company's strong planning to provide 4G service to customers

New Delhi: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is focusing on improving its infrastructure to provide its services to more customers. Especially after the tariff increase, the company has increased its work even more. After recharge became expensive, lakhs of people ported their SIM to BSNL. Now, continuing this trend, the company has planned to provide free internet to the users.

Internet will be free

The company is planning to provide many facilities to consumers through a scheme. Under this campaign of BSNL, a target has been set to install BTS (Base Transceiver Station) towers. Through this, it will be easier to deliver the company's services to the customers. The aim of the company is to provide internet and calling facilities in remote areas.

Target to install 6300 towers

Under the special campaign of BSNL, a target has been set to install 6300 towers in Uttar Pradesh. There are many districts of UP where customers have started getting BSNL 4G facility. The target is to install all 6300 towers by March 2025.

Expectations rise as tariffs increase

In July, Reliance Jio and Airtel made recharge plans expensive, which had a direct impact on the pockets of common people. In such a situation, people have started looking for other options. BSNL benefited the most from this. According to TRAI, Airtel and Jio saw a decline in customers in the month of July, while BSNL added about 29 lakh new customers in the same month.
