New Delhi:- Ilya 'Golem' Yefimchyak, famous as the world's greatest bodybuilder, has died of a heart attack at the age of 36. Yefimchyak was admitted to hospital on 6 September, where he fell into a coma and died on 11 September.

The 36-year-old bodybuilder had earned the nickname 'The Mutant' in fitness circles due to his massive body of 6 feet and weighing 340 pounds. Yefimchyak's heart started beating rapidly, his wife Anna told The New York Post, and he was taken to the hospital. While waiting for the ambulance to arrive, Anna was performing CPR on her husband.

Anna said while talking to local media that I spent every day with him, hoping that he would get well. His heart started beating again for two days, but the doctors told me that his brain had stopped working. After Yefimchyak's death, she said that I thank everyone who expressed condolences to me. It is very heartwarming that I came to know that I am not alone in this world and many people have given me help and support.

Yefimchyak maintained his 25-inch biceps through a strict diet that consumed up to 16,500 calories a day, which reportedly included more than five pounds of steak and more than 100 pieces of sushi in seven meals. He never attended or competed in any professional bodybuilding events, but was quite popular on social media where he shared his training routines online, garnering millions of views and followers on the social media platform.
