New Delhi: Australia has now suffered a major setback in the ongoing ODI match between England and Australia. After yesterday's ODI match series between England and Australia, now news is coming that this Australian all-rounder will no longer be able to take part in the upcoming matches.

Australia's star all-rounder Cameron Green was ruled out of the current tour of England due to a back injury on Friday and it is now difficult for him to play in the home Test series against India later this year, according to the ICC.

Green, who complained of back pain after the third ODI against England, is not included in the squad for the fourth ODI as scans revealed an injury. Australia have faced a number of injuries during this UK tour, with Green becoming the fifth player after Nathan Ellis, Xavier Bartlett, Riley Meredith and Ben Dwarshis to be ruled out.

Cricket.com.au reported that the severity of Green's injury will be known only when the all-rounder reaches home for further tests. Cameron Green is also an important part of the Australian Test team and with a big ICC World Test Championship series against India coming up later this year, there will be concerns about his recovery timeline.

Australia will take on India in the prestigious Border-Gavaskar Trophy later this year. The much-coveted Border-Gavaskar series between India and Australia will begin with the first Test in Perth on November 22.

The match will be day-night

The second Test, to be held at the Adelaide Oval from December 6 to 10, will be played in an exciting day-night format under stadium lights. Next, the focus of fans will be on the Gabba in Brisbane for the third Test, which will be held from December 14 to 18.

The traditional Boxing Day Test, to be held between 26 and 30 December at the famous Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne, will take the series to its final stage.
