According to India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), on last Saturday, September 21, the price of gold was Rs 74,093 per 10 grams, which has increased to Rs 75,640 today (September 28). Thus, the price of gold has increased by Rs 1,547 this week.

Talking about silver, last week its price was Rs 88,917 per kg, which has now reached Rs 91,448. During this period, the price of silver has increased by Rs 2,531. It is worth noting that on May 29 this year, silver had touched its all-time high of Rs 94,280 per kg.

Gold prices in major metros and Bhopal:

  • Delhi: The price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold is Rs 71,100, while the price of 24 carat gold is Rs 77,550.
  • Mumbai: The price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold is Rs 70,950 and that of 24 carat is Rs 77,400.
  • Kolkata: The price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold is Rs 70,950, that of 24 carat is Rs 77,400.
  • Chennai: The price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold is Rs 70,950 and that of 24 carat is Rs 77,400.
  • Bhopal: The price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold is Rs 71,000 and that of 24 carat gold is Rs 77,450.

This year's rising prices:

According to IBJA, the price of gold has increased by Rs 12,288 so far this year. On January 1, the price of gold was Rs 63,352, which has now reached Rs 75,640 per 10 grams. At the same time, the price of one kg silver has increased from Rs 73,395 to Rs 91,448.
