That I have said earlier also and I say it even today that this is a government run from the village and not from the Ranchi headquarters.

Pension scheme for all

Through the “Aapki Yojana-Aapki Sarkar-Aapke Dwar” program, the work of providing old age sticks to the old people of the state was done. The work of giving pension to every old age, widow woman and disabled person was done. It became the first state in the country, where all the needy are being given the benefit of Sarvajan Pension Scheme. The Chief Minister said that now our government has shown the way out to the middlemen doing commission in the name of schemes. Now the law has been made such that there is no need to go to a broker. If people turn 50 years of age, then go to the Block Development Officer with Aadhar Card and the old age pension card will be made immediately.

Glory of Mainiya Samman Yojana

Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren said that under “Jharkhand Chief Minister Maaniyan Samman Yojana”, every sister and mother who has completed 18 years of age is getting the benefit of the scheme. The Chief Minister said that along with giving respect to the women power of the state, our government is strengthening it economically. Many competitive examinations are being organized to provide jobs to the youth of the state. For the interests of the tribals and indigenous people of the state, our government passed the Sarna Dharmacode from the Jharkhand Assembly and sent it to the Central Government but it was put on hold. The Chief Minister said that the local policy made by our government has been eclipsed.

The number of overseas scholarships will increase

The Chief Minister said that the youth have come abroad to pursue higher education. Approval letters are being provided to them. The youth should tell us which is the state in the country where higher education is being given abroad on 100% scholarship. Surely if we can send 25 children for education abroad then why can't we send 100 children? There is a need for policy formulation in this. I would seriously consider it.

Abu Awas to 20 lakh homeless families

Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that the state government, with its own resources, is providing three-room permanent houses to 20 lakh houseless families of Jharkhand under the Abua Awas Yojana. The Chief Minister said that the previous governments have not done justice even to the farmers of the state. Our government has now done the work of waiving off agricultural loans of up to Rs 2 lakh of the farmers here. The state government is providing 200 units of electricity free of cost to the electricity consumers of Jharkhand, while old electricity bills have also been waived off.
