Tirupati Laddu controversy: Owaisi raised serious questions, reacted on animal fat!

New Delhi: (Tirupati Laddu Controversy) There is continuous political rhetoric on the issue of supplying ghee containing animal fat to the Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirupati. TDP and BJP are targeting Jagan Mohan Reddy's YSRCP on this issue.

Meanwhile, AIMIM leader and MP Asaduddin Owaisi has also commented on this matter. Addressing a press conference in Mumbai on Wednesday, he said that information about animal fat being found in the offerings of Tirupati temple has come to light. If so then it is wrong. Owaisi said that we also consider this wrong and this should not have happened.

Owaisi targets BJP on Waqf Board Bill

Along with this, apart from the Tirupati Temple issue, he also targeted BJP on the Waqf Board Bill. Apart from Muslims, other religions are also being included in the Waqf Board Bill. Is this not wrong? The central government wants to grab the land of Muslims.

Owaisi said that Waqf property is private property. BJP is spreading rumors as if Waqf is government property. It is being wrongly propagated that Waqf Board has 10 lakh acres of land. Just as property is donated in Hindu religion, land is also donated in Waqf.

The AIMIM leader said that the Narendra Modi government is not bringing this bill to protect, develop or bring efficiency in Waqf properties. This bill has been brought to abolish the Waqf Board. He further claimed that BJP and RSS are spreading 'dirty propaganda' against the Waqf Board.
