UGC NET Result 2024: NTA to release scorecard, cutoff soon; whats’ next

New Delhi: The University Grants Commission (UGC) will soon announce the result of the National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2024 for the June session. The commission has not yet announced the date of the result announcement but it can be expected that the UGC NET result 2024 can be announced by this week. Once announced, the result will be available to check on the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

To view the UGC NET result 2024 for June session, candidates need to use their login details such as registration number and date of birth. The UGC NET is conducted for candidates who wish to pursue Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for the appointment of assistant professors and lecturers.

Where to check UGC NET June result 2024 once out?

Once the results are declared, candidates will be able to check them through the official website of NTA. The results will be released on the following platforms:

  1. Official Website of NTA: The result will be announced on the official website of NTA at nta.ac.in or the UGC NET-specific page. Once the result is announced, candidates will be able to download their scorecards by using their login credentials.
  2. Direct link for results: The NTA will issue a direct link on the website’s homepage to check the UGC NET result. For the direct link, one must look for the announcements related to the UGC NET June 2024 results and enter the required details.
  3. SMS/Email: The testing agency can also send notifications of the result announcement through  SMS or an email to the registered candidates once the results are announced.

What to do after the UGC NET result 2024 is announced?

Once the UGC NET June 2024 results are announced, candidates who will be shortlisted will have the following options:

  • The testing agency will issue an e-certificate and the JRF letter to candidates who will pass the exam. These documents can be accessed from the official website once the results are out.
  • Candidates who qualify for Assistant Professors will be able to apply for teaching posts in universities and colleges across India. Those who will be shortlisted for the JRF will be eligible to receive the research funding.
