Drug addicts will be treated in 31 district hospitals of this state, ATF center will be established…

Bhopal:- Addiction treatment facilities centers will be established in 31 district hospitals of Madhya Pradesh to control drug addiction. These centers will be established under the National Action Plan to reduce the demand for drugs of the Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. This includes those districts which need special attention for de-addiction.

Arrangements will be made in hospitals
Social Justice and Disabled Welfare Minister Narayan Singh Kushwaha said that dedicated wards will be made in selected district hospitals for the treatment of drug abuse victims. 10 beds will be reserved in the ward, which will be used for the treatment of drug addicts. Under this campaign, these centers will be compulsorily established in the state between October 2 and 8. For this, all the districts have been directed to ensure necessary preparations in the medical wards and arrange special facilities for drug abuse victims.

this is the purpose
Regarding the establishment of ATF centres, proposals have been sent by the Madhya Pradesh government to NDDTC and AIIMS, New Delhi, which will be under the guidelines of the Central Government. The main objective of this entire effort is to spread awareness in the society against drug addiction and to provide proper treatment and rehabilitation facilities to the victims.

Will be established in these districts
Agar-Malwa, Alirajpur, Anuppur, Ashoknagar, Badwani, Betul, Burhanpur, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Damoh, Dewas, Dhar, Harda, Jhabua, Katni, Khargone, Mandla, Niwari, Sheopur, Ujjain, Rajgarh, Shahdol, Shivpuri, Sidhi, ATF centers will be established in Singrauli, Narsinghpur, Narmadapuram, Umaria, Mauganj, Maihar and Pandhurna.
