Xiaomi Buds 5 launched with 39 hours of battery life and IP54 rating, great features will be available even at an affordable price

Tech News Desk – Xiaomi also launched the new Buds 5 TWS earbuds along with Xiaomi 14T series, Redmi Note 14 series during one of its global events. The company has also launched them in China in July this year. The new Buds 5 TWS support ANC and bring some good features in the budget price segment. The company claims that including the case, it provides a total playback time of 39 hours. The earphones come with Adaptive Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity. These include AAC, SBC, aptX lossless, and aptX adaptive audio codecs support. Apart from this, Xiaomi Buds 5 has a system of three AI supported mics for clear call quality.

Xiaomi Buds 5 TWS earphones have been launched in the global market for 99.99 Euro (about Rs 9,400). These have been introduced in Graphite Black, Ceramic White and Titan Gray color options. Xiaomi Buds 5 earbuds come with IP54 rating, which protects against dust and splashes. These have in-ear design and AI-supported three-mic system. The earphones also support Adaptive Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity. It has support for AAC, SBC, aptX lossless, and aptX adaptive audio codecs. Some models of earbuds also support the LC3 codec.

The Xiaomi Buds 5 feature 11mm dual-magnet drivers and Harman AudioEFX tuning, which promise to deliver crisp and immersive sound backed by Qualcomm aptX lossless and Hi-Res Audio certifications. It also has a 73ms low latency mode, compatible with select devices from Xiaomi and Poco. The brand has promised to add support for more models in the future. The charging case of the Xiaomi Buds 5 houses a 480mAh battery, while each earbud has a 35mAh battery. The non-ANC earphones offer up to 39 hours of total battery life with the charging case. The case weighs 36.6 grams and each earbud weighs 4.4 grams.
