Once a petrol head, always a petrol, the statement has been proved right by none other than Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Muthuvel Karunanidhi Stalin or M.K. Stalin. Recently, the top leader was captured while driving his well-maintained vintage car Fiat 1100 from the 90s.

He was seen sitting behind the wheels and was accompanied by a few of his officials. When the clip of Stalin, driving his vintage beauty surfaced on the internet, it went viral in no time.

The post has been shared by a page named DMK Blood on Instagram with a caption in Tamil that reads, ” CM is Driving! A sweet sight of Hon’ble Chief Minister happily driving his Fiat car today.”

 

In the short clip, it is visible that the CM is roaming on the road, enjoying his years-old car. It is not confirmed when he bought the vehicle. However, it clearly can be seen that the car is restored to such perfection that dominates the other latest vehicles on the road.

In case you are not aware, the Fiat 1100 was launched in 1937 under the nameplate Fiat 508 C or Balilla 1100. Later, it was renamed as Fiat 1100 in 1939. The company produced the models in three series until 1953. It was replaced by the Fiat 1100/103.

The brand had released the sedan only in one variant in India. It costs almost Rs 10 lakh back then (ex-showroom). The production of the model was in 2000 due to low sales.
