Denaway added,

We don't actually need anyone to officially tell us that they will contest the election. Many of our leaders have started preparations for the elections.

Targeted at BJP

Elections for the 288-member Maharashtra Assembly are likely to be held in November. The Sena (UBT) leader said Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar earlier this week and talked about winning 30 out of 46 seats in the Marathwada region. He said that I am not sure that BJP will contest even 30 seats in Marathwada with difficulty.

Let us tell you that after the 2019 elections, the original Shiv Sena has split, with the party's name and its 'bow and arrow' symbol going to the group led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Shiv Sena Mahayuti is a partner in the ruling coalition, which also includes Ajit Pawar-led NCP and BJP. Danve is from the other faction, Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT).
