Forced to show me! '3 girls and him.., more people in the room..', actress alleges against filmmaker

Malyalam Industry:In recent times, a new round of sexual harassment allegations has started in the Malayalam film industry. Former actress Meenu Munir has made serious allegations against famous director and actor Balachandra Menon that he forced her to watch a sexual act in 2007. In this case, Meenu had earlier also accused Jayasuriya and seven other people of misbehavior.

Meenu Munir revealed in an interview that Balachandra Menon asked her to watch group sex in his room. 'There were some other people there too and I was asked to sit and watch,' he said. After these allegations of Meenu, an FIR has been registered, which makes it clear that now such cases are being taken seriously.

Chief Minister's words inspired Meenu

During her visit, Meenu said that her dreams in the industry have now become a nightmare. He said, 'This (Hema Committee report) is important not only for the industry but also for the cleanliness of our society.' Meenu also said that she has received calls from several people to compromise, one of whom offered money.

Meenu facing POCSO case

However, Meenu is now facing a POCSO case against her based on her cousin sister's complaint. Meenu said that this is an attempt to take revenge because she did not help her sister in the industry.

The situation becomes more serious due to the arrest of Edavela Babu.

Recently, on September 25, actor Edavela Babu was also arrested due to the allegations made by Meenu. This incident has further highlighted the ongoing issues in the Malayalam film industry. Many prominent personalities have claimed their innocence, but after Meenu's allegations it has become clear that now voice will be raised against such incidents.

This entire situation has raised the question whether the Malayalam film industry will now take steps towards improving its image? With the courage of people like Meenu, many other women are also coming forward and this can be a sign of an important change.
