Honorarium increase: Government has increased the honorarium of these employees, now they will get this much money, check details here

Jharkhand After giving the gift of DA to the government employees and pensioners, the Hemant Soren government has now given a big gift to the mid-day meal cooks along with the farmer friends. Before Navratri Dussehra, the Hemant Soren government of the state has increased their honorarium allowance.

In the cabinet meeting held on Friday, the honorarium of farmer friends working in government schools of Jharkhand and women cooks preparing mid-day meals has been increased by Rs 1,000 each. More than 16000 farmer friends and 83 thousand cooks will benefit from this decision.

Earlier, in the last cabinet meeting, dearness allowance of government employees and DA/DR of pensioners and family pensioners was increased by 9 to 16 percent. Its benefit will be available only from January 1, 2024, that is, the salary pension will increase in the account from October.

Under the centrally sponsored PM Poshan Yojana, approval was given to give additional honorarium of Rs 1000 per month to the cook-cum-assistant under the state scheme for a total of 12 months. Earlier they used to get Rs 1000 per month for 10 months. Now they will get Rs 2000 per month.

While increasing the allowance of farmer friends working in Jharkhand, the government has decided to give them Rs 2000 per month instead of Rs 1000. The number of Krishak Mitras across the state is 16532 and this was being demanded for a long time.

Approval was given to increase the honorarium of academic and non-academic medical officers working on contract in the Government Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital located at Paraspani, Godda.

Those employees of Jharkhand State covered by the order of Jharkhand High Court or Supreme Court whose adjustment has become effective before 01.12.2004, or whose date of appointment has been considered to be before 01.12.2004 and whose previous service is considered for pension purpose. It has been decided to take them into the calculation, the proposal to make a provision to allow them to fill offline pension form was approved.

In the meeting, approval was given to determine the remuneration/honorarium and service conditions of retired employees for contract based appointment to the post of Senior Auditor in the Audit Directorate.

Approval was given to amendment in Resolution No. 781 dated 16.03.2024 regarding accepting notional salary increase for calculating retirement benefits of employees retiring on 30th June/31st December.

Retired/deceased teachers of non-government aided (including minority) elementary schools and teachers/non-teaching staff of non-government aided minority secondary schools of Jharkhand will be given the seventh central pay scale at par with retired/deceased teachers/non-teaching staff of governmentized primary and governmentized secondary schools. Approval was given for revision of pension (including family pension).
